A Father's Inspiring Run to Support Hospital that Saved His Daughter

To raise funds for the Bristol and Weston Hospitals Charity, which played a crucial role in saving his daughter, Isabella, a year ago following a life-threatening brain bleed.

Isabella was only 12 years old when her parents received the alarming call that she was suffering from severe head pain and vomiting. After immediate attention at Gloucester Royal Hospital, she was transferred to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where she underwent emergency brain surgery. Marcos has dedicated this half marathon to honor the hospital staff, stating, “They didn’t let me down. So for Isabella and all the other children under this incredible hospital's care, I am stepping out of my comfort zone.” Despite admitting he is not an experienced runner, Marcos has diligently trained for what will be his first half-marathon, bringing attention to a cause that touches many lives.
