The establishment of the Best Start Hub is backed by a substantial investment from the Labour government, which has committed taxpayer funding to create similar hubs across the UK. Bury received £137,208 to support the delivery of these vital services within the borough. Both Ms. Phillipson and local MP James Frith express their enthusiasm about this initiative, highlighting its importance in addressing the challenges faced by families in Bury North, where over a third of children are growing up in poverty.
