In a remarkable celebration of educators who inspire and engage, Alasdair Bright, a dedicated teacher from St Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School in Kenton, has been distinguished as the North East winner in the inaugural Inspiring History Teacher Awards. Bringing Local Heritage to Life

Alasdair's heritage walking tours of Newcastle have captivated both students and community members alike, with their translations into over 20 languages ensuring accessibility for all. Alasdair states, "We've tried to make it really inclusive - 20 languages people speak in our school community because we try to remove barriers."
