Scheduled to be performed on April 28 at The MAC Belfast, "Gold Medal Mary" tells the story of a young Mary Peters who would eventually secure gold in the pentathlon at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Set against a backdrop of political turbulence in Belfast, the narrative highlights the determination of a young woman as she strives to overcome various obstacles to success.

This original theatre production is developed in collaboration with The Mary Peters Trust and showcases the talents of young performers from The Rainbow Factory School of Performing Arts.
