Bruncho Café Expands: A New Hope for Manchester's Food Scene

In an exciting development for food enthusiasts in Manchester, popular all-day brunch destination Bruncho Café is set to open its second location in the vibrant Northern Quarter. This new site will take over the space previously occupied by the Feel Good Club, marking a fresh beginning for the area following the closing of the former venue last year.

A Community-Focused Venture

Bruncho, which first opened its doors in Deansgate in the summer of 2024, has quickly gained a reputation for its diverse menu featuring Full English breakfasts, Turkish eggs, and innovative breakfast pizzas. The café is known for its unique take on breakfast classics, including its viral French Toast and Yorkshire Pudding-based dishes, making it a beloved fixture in Manchester's dining scene.

Transforming the Northern Quarter

The new café will occupy a spacious 4,378 sq ft ground floor area in Hilton House, enhancing the atmosphere of the Northern Quarter with a contemporary design that promises to attract both locals and visitors. Bruncho's owner, Omer Umut Mutlu, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “Manchester has shown Bruncho so much love, and expanding into the Northern Quarter feels like the natural next step for us.” This sentiment reflects the café's commitment to creating a welcoming environment that resonates with the community.

Building a Thriving Community Hub

Scheduled to open in June 2026, the new Bruncho site aims to not only serve delicious food but also act as a hub for events and private dining, further enriching the cultural fabric of the Northern Quarter. The arrival of Bruncho will bring Hilton House to full occupancy again, revitalizing the building and contributing positively to the local economy. Paul Shakeshaft, Head of Property Management at CERT, emphasized the importance of Bruncho's presence, stating, “They’re a fantastic operator with big plans that bring the right fit and the right atmosphere to the building and neighbourhood.”

As Manchester continues to navigate the challenges within the hospitality sector, Bruncho's expansion serves as a beacon of optimism and resilience, showcasing the city's ability to adapt and thrive. With its commitment to quality dining and community engagement, Bruncho Café is poised to become a cornerstone of the Northern Quarter, drawing food lovers together in a celebratory and inclusive space.
