Celebrating 56 Years of Cultural Heritage at Chicano Park

Today marks the 56th anniversary of a significant event in San Diego, California, where native Mexican or "Chicino" residents took a bold step towards preserving their cultural heritage by occupying a site under the Coronado Bridge. This decisive action led to the establishment of Chicano Park, which is now home to the largest collection of outdoor murals in the country.

A Living Canvas of History and Culture
