The Telford and Wrekin Community Lottery (TWINCL) is basking in a remarkable achievement as it celebrates its eighth anniversary and marks an impressive fundraising milestone of £262,329 distributed among over 80 local charities and organizations. Since its inception in 2018, the lottery has played a pivotal role in channeling essential funding directly into local communities, fostering projects that benefit thousands of residents across the Borough.

A Sustained Commitment to Local Good Causes

TWINCL has emerged as a fundamental source of financial support for community organizations, enabling them to sustain vital services, embark on new initiatives, and create a meaningful impact within their neighborhoods. The success of TWINCL is largely attributed to the unwavering support from its players, who contribute to local good causes while also having the chance to win cash prizes. With each ticket priced at just £1, players can vie for prizes of up to £25,000, knowing that 60p from every ticket sold goes directly to local initiatives, providing a straightforward and gratifying way to give back to the community.

Impressive Donations Fuel Community Growth

Over the past eight years, TWINCL has supported a wide array of local organizations. Notable beneficiaries include the Anstice Community Trust, which received nearly £12,700, enabling it to maintain a vibrant community hub that fosters connections through various activities and services. Additionally, Telford Crisis Support has benefitted from almost £10,050, crucial for aiding residents facing hardship.
