On February 24th, Bradford College hosted its annual Star Awards, a magnificent celebration recognizing the achievements of apprentices who have gone above and beyond in their training. A highlight of the evening was the announcement of Tegan Durkin as the ‘CBRE Apprentice of the Year.’ Tegan, who is employed by The Poplars Dental Practice, was recognized for her unwavering commitment to learning and exceptional positive attitude, even in the face of personal health challenges.

The event also celebrated other noteworthy apprentices such as Nida Hayat, who was awarded ‘Adult Apprentice of the Year’ while balancing her duties as a mother of two children with additional needs. In addition, Joseph Worth received the ‘Breaking Barriers’ award for his remarkable resilience in fulfilling college business needs amidst his challenges.
