Last week, Freeths law firm hosted a significant event at its Manchester office, bringing together finalists, judges, and representatives from the prestigious Women of the Year Awards (WOTY) for a special luncheon and judging day. This occasion, which leads up to the awards ceremony on October 9, highlights the remarkable accomplishments of women who are effecting change and breaking barriers across various sectors.

For over 40 years, the WOTY has been a platform that celebrates exceptional women from across the UK. Now in its 44th year, the awards emphasize the importance of recognizing women who inspire others, not just in business but also in society at large. This year’s finalists represent a diverse array of fields, including technology, retail, beauty, and manufacturing, showcasing the breadth of female talent in the UK.
