Community Spirit Shines as Volunteers Cultivate Hope Through Gardening

In a heartwarming display of community involvement, volunteers from Girl Scout Troop 67 have come together to plant a vibrant spring garden at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. This initiative not only beautifies the church grounds but also serves a greater purpose as the produce harvested from this garden will be donated to those in need.

The Creation Care Team of the church has been tirelessly dedicated to cultivating a mosaic garden. Over the past decade, their efforts have resulted in the remarkable donation of more than 1,500 pounds of fresh produce to the Manna on Meridian Food Bank. This initiative highlights the significant impact that community gardens can have in addressing food insecurity and fostering relationships within the neighborhood.
