This February, the Ards and North Down Borough Council hosted two landmark events aimed at enhancing local employment opportunities. The Jobs, Support and Training Fair and the Apprenticeship Careers Fair brought together job seekers, employers, and training providers in a collaborative effort to bolster the community's workforce.

The Jobs, Support and Training Fair featured 53 exhibitors, with a concentration on the Health and Social Care sector. Participants were able to connect directly with employers offering immediate job opportunities, while support agencies provided invaluable resources such as CV guidance and interview preparation. Championing Apprenticeships as Career Pathways
