Family Fun and Iconic Productions
The festival promises family-friendly entertainment with the addition of “Peter Pan,” a walkabout show designed for young adventurers under eight. This interactive experience allows families to dive into a whimsical world featuring favorites like Wendy, Tinkerbell, and the mischievous Captain Hook, from July 28 to August 13.
Additionally, audiences will delight in the Olivier Award-winning “Nell Gwynn,” co-produced with Shakespeare North Playhouse and Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake, with performances from August 21 to September 6. With a cast rich in talent, this production exemplifies the high-caliber artistry that Storyhouse in the Park is known for.
More Than Just Theatre
But the summer offerings extend beyond the stage. The festival site will feature a popular tepee bar alongside a diverse selection of food, craft beers, and frozen cocktails, catering to all tastes. A Street Food Weekend on June 27 and 28 will launch the season with live music and free entry, providing an electrifying start to the festivities.
Throughout the season, attendees can look forward to outdoor cinema experiences with Moonlight Flicks, live comedy nights, and engaging activities like murder mystery events and outdoor yoga sessions.
