Fuel Prices Drop Just in Time for Easter: A Blessing for Moldovan Drivers

As the Easter holidays approach, drivers across the Republic of Moldova are greeted with delightful news: fuel prices are set to decrease. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has revealed new maximum prices effective over the weekend, resulting in lower costs for both gasoline and diesel.

The price adjustments reveal that COR 95 gasoline will now cost 29.80 lei per liter, a reduction of 3 bani. Diesel fuel, on the other hand, sees a more considerable drop of 1.17 lei per liter, bringing it down to 33.32 lei. This news comes on the heels of a prior reduction announced on April 9, where diesel prices fell by 49 bani per liter. In total, within just two days, the price of diesel has dropped by 1.66 lei per liter.
