The Hindley Road Post Office in Daisy Hill is back in action after a prolonged closure of 14 months, much to the delight of the local community. Operated by Usman (Ozzy) and Hajia Patel, the Post Office reopened its doors on April 7, 2025, and is ready to serve customers once again.

After a long absence, Hajia and Usman expressed their excitement about returning to normal operations. "We're really happy that we're open again so we can keep on serving the community," Usman stated, emphasizing their commitment to reintegrating into the community they serve.

The Post Office, located at 137 Hindley Road, Westhoughton, is eager to reconnect with its local patrons. Operating hours are from 9.30 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday and 9.30 am to 12 pm on Saturdays, making it easier for residents to access essential services.
