Inspiring Success: Almost 1,000 Moray Residents Find New Opportunities Through Local Partnership

In a remarkable display of community support and collaboration, nearly 1,000 individuals across Moray received crucial employability assistance during the 2025/26 period. The Moray Pathways Local Employability Partnership has made a significant impact in helping residents move closer to work, education, and training, as detailed in their latest annual report.

Empowering Local Residents

The report highlights that a total of 985 people participated in various funded services, with an impressive 851 achieving positive outcomes, including transitions into employment, education, volunteering, and skill development. This progress is a testament to the partnership's commitment to uplifting those facing barriers to entering the workforce.

A Strong Investment Backing

Supported by an investment of £2.16 million from the Scottish Government, Moray Council, and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the initiative brings together government, private entities, and third-sector organizations with a shared goal: to foster a more inclusive local economy. This collaborative approach has not only increased access to resources but has also helped create a robust support network for participants.

Cllr Marc Macrae, Chair of the Economic Development and Infrastructure Services Committee, commented on the importance of partnership working in making a tangible difference in the lives of residents.
