On September 11, a remarkable event was held at Kennet School Sixth Form in Thatcham, marking a special celebration of T Levels. This evening underscored the power of community partnerships and industry placements that are instrumental in preparing students for their future careers.

The celebration brought together representatives from various local organizations that have been integral in supporting students through their T Level courses. Guests included Abigail Cooper from the NHS and Emily Moseley from Thatcham Town Council, along with students who shared personal experiences regarding their practical placements. Outstanding Academic Performance

Notably, the event also celebrated the exceptional performance of students at Kennet School. An impressive 97 percent of students achieved a pass or higher in their T Level courses, compared to the national average of 92.6 percent. Furthermore, 86 percent obtained a merit or above, significantly outstripping the national average of 69 percent. Every T Level student at Kennet completed their required industry placement, reinforcing the school’s dedication to providing high-quality education.

Kennet School remains the sole provider of T Levels in West Berkshire, marking its commitment to offering a distinctive technical alternative to traditional A-levels.
