Chloe Russell, a remarkable 20-year-old from Gonerby Hill Foot, is defying the odds and proving that positivity can prevail even in the direst of circumstances. Living with multiple debilitating health conditions, including a brain stem tumor and registered blindness, Chloe has spent a substantial part of her life in hospital settings, yet she refuses to be defined by her struggles.

Despite the challenges Chloe faces daily, she maintains a resilient spirit, always searching for the positives in life. She explained, "I try to never let things get me down and always seek to find the positives in all situations I find myself in." This unwavering determination not only inspires those around her but also highlights her capability to reflect on her experiences constructively.

Giving Back Through Fundraising

Chloe is on a mission to make a difference, channeling her energy into raising funds for Make A Wish UK, a charity that provides life-changing experiences for critically ill children. Thanks to the charity, Chloe herself was granted the wish to spend a weekend with the makeup brand PLouise, a dream experience that she cherishes deeply. As a way of giving back and ensuring that other children can have their wishes fulfilled, she is organizing a charity ball on September 26 at Kelham Hall near Newark.

Her father, Pete Russell, expresses immense pride in Chloe's dedication to helping others, especially following her 10-week hospital stay where her family feared the worst. "Her first thought was to resume with the planning of her ball," he mentioned. This highlights Chloe’s character — even in recovery, her commitment to making the world a better place remains steadfast.
