On Sunday, 12 April, the beautiful city of Cape Town will host the eighth annual Paws on the Promenade 5 km walk, inviting the community to come together for a noble cause. This event, organized by the Mdzananda Animal Clinic, aims to raise awareness and funds for the countless animals in need within the Khayelitsha community.

Starting from the iconic Mouille Point Lighthouse, participants can stroll along the scenic route toward the Sea Point pools and back. Entry fees are aimed to promote accessibility, costing R50 for adults and dogs, and only R25 for kids under 12. Participants can purchase tickets online or on the day of the event from 8:30 am, with a kick-off at 9:00 am.
