In an inspiring achievement for the Liverpool culinary scene, restaurants Lunya and Lunyalita have received the coveted “Restaurants from Spain” certification from Foods & Wines from Spain, marking them as the first combined restaurants and deli in England outside London to earn this distinction. Peter Kinsella, co-founder of Lunya, expressed immense pride in this recognition, stating that the inception of Lunya in 2010 was to bring an authentic taste of Catalonia to Liverpool. “To be told by the Spanish government that we’ve got it right means a huge amount to everyone who has worked on this over the years,” he remarked.
