Marcos Fernandez, a devoted father from Kingsway, Gloucester, is gearing up to run the Great Bristol Half Marathon this weekend with a heartwarming purpose: to raise funds for the hospital that played a crucial role in saving his daughter Isabella's life. A year ago, at just 12 years old, Isabella suffered a life-threatening brain bleed, an ordeal that put her and her family through unimaginable stress.

After receiving an urgent call about Isabella's condition, her family rushed to the Gloucester Royal Hospital, only to be transferred to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children for immediate surgery.
