The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) has chosen two exceptional non-profits, the First Nature Foundation of St. Cloud and Victoria Helping Veterans of Kissimmee, to be featured on its 2026-27 Public Service Bus. The First Nature Foundation offers equine-assisted leadership programs focused on healing and resilience, while Victoria Helping Veterans provides essential support including housing, food, and assistance with reintegration into civilian life.

St. Cloud Hospital has received high commendation as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work for the fifth consecutive year. The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West has successfully hosted its annual Student Art Contest, engaging local schools and the community while raising funds for the Council on Aging's Meals on Wheels program. This year saw 336 artistic submissions, and through a virtual voting process, the community raised $6,750 to support this vital service.
