In an extraordinary turn of events, Shedly Appolon, a Florida woman, celebrated her 29th birthday with not just the gift of life but a miraculous rescue that saved her and her unborn child. On February 6, what began as a typical day quickly transformed into a life-threatening situation when Appolon lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a pond on Interstate 95.

As Appolon struggled to escape her submerged car, a passerby named Logan Hayes witnessed the accident and immediately sprang into action. Undeterred by the danger, he swam approximately 30 feet to reach her vehicle.
