School Celebrates World Book Day with Enthusiasm and Creativity

Recently, Ringwood Junior School took a joyful step to celebrate World Book Day, creating an enchanting atmosphere filled with beloved literary characters. On March 5, students arrived dressed as a variety of iconic figures, showcasing their favorite books and characters.

Bringing Stories to Life

The event featured students dressed as Enola Holmes, Robin Hood, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter, among many others. This creative expression not only highlighted the children's imagination but also demonstrated the school's commitment to fostering a love for reading.

Encouraging Positive Reading Habits

The headteacher, Mrs. Evans, along with Mrs. Dallyn, the library leader, emphasized the day’s significance. "World Book Day continues to develop children's enthusiasm and enjoyment for reading which extends beyond the classroom," they stated. The focus on creating positive reading habits aligns with the school's goal to make reading a cozy and enjoyable activity for children.
