Sefton Park Hotel Transforms for a Bright Future with New Leadership and Refurbishments
The Sefton Park Hotel is embarking on an exciting new chapter as it unveils a series of strategic leadership appointments and significant enhancements to its venue. Positioned to welcome guests in a vibrant setting, the boutique property aims for its most successful year to date following these transformative changes.
New Leadership and a Commitment to Excellence
At the forefront of this transformation is the appointment of Megan Hanson as the new Hotel Manager. With more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Megan brings a wealth of expertise and a refreshing perspective to the role. Previously at Knowsley Hall Estate, where she managed luxury weddings and high-profile events, she is poised to elevate Sefton Park's esteemed reputation further.
Megan expressed her enthusiasm about joining the team, stating, “This is a truly special property with incredible heritage and a stunning location. I’m excited to build on its strong reputation, elevate the guest experience, and introduce fresh energy across the hotel and its dining spaces.” Her commitment to exceptional guest service signals a promising evolution for the hotel's culinary offerings.
Major Enhancements on the Horizon
The timing of Megan's appointment coincides with a significant £250,000 refurbishment program, which will enhance guest accommodations and public spaces. Many of the 16 ensuite bedrooms have already undergone renovations, ensuring that guests enjoy modern comforts in a historic setting.
In addition to room upgrades, the hotel is revitalizing its public areas, including the restaurant and bar, which will soon be open seven days a week. A newly refurbished event suite will also accommodate larger gatherings, capable of hosting up to 120 seated guests or 200 for receptions, catering to both personal and corporate events.
A New Dining Experience
As part of this comprehensive enhancement, the hotel is preparing to launch the Sefton Park Bistro in Spring 2026. This new eatery will offer a curated menu featuring home-made, gastropub-style dishes, promising to attract both locals and visitors looking for a delightful dining experience.
With these developments, the Sefton Park Hotel is not just preserving its rich heritage but is set to become a contemporary destination for exceptional hospitality, marking an exciting future for both the property and its guests.
