Residents of Maplewood Court, a senior living facility just outside London, recently experienced a delightful afternoon that left them feeling rejuvenated and vibrant. Thanks to the facility's 'Lifestyle Team,' a unique photoshoot featuring high-fashion wigs and colorful clothing transformed their day into a celebration of style and spirit.

A Surprise Glam-Up Session

Inspired by a trending social media video, employees Laura Taylor and Jo Morgan orchestrated a secret event that had 72 residents buzzing with excitement. The session involved an outrageous wardrobe filled with flower-studded wigs, oversized sunglasses, hats, and giant pearls, allowing residents to embrace their inner fashionistas.

Boosting Spirits and Confidence

Centenarian Hilda Howes expressed her newfound vitality, stating, “I loved it, they made me look 80 instead of 100! It was so much fun to dress up in all the bright clothes.” The event not only provided entertainment but also a much-needed boost to the residents' confidence and spirits, proving that age is just a number when it comes to having fun.
