In a significant development for employment in Tripura, the state cabinet has announced the recruitment of 107 positions across various key departments. This decision is anticipated to enhance administrative efficiency while simultaneously opening new job opportunities for residents of the state.

During a press conference, cabinet spokesperson Sushanta Chowdhury revealed that the move focuses on bolstering governance and addressing critical job vacancies by implementing a transparent recruitment process. Among the new positions, 50 Senior Computer Assistants will be allocated to the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts under the Finance Department. The recruitment will be facilitated through the Tripura Public Service Commission to ensure merit-based selections.

Aside from the computer assistant roles, the announcement includes 43 positions sanctioned for the Home (Jail) Department and four vacancies for Pharmacists (Allopathy). The Election Department is also set to recruit 10 Lower Division Clerks.
