This strategic decision reflects the government's commitment to improving administrative functioning and filling critical vacancies in the state.
Key Highlights of the Recruitment Plan
The cabinet, led by Chief Minister Manik Saha, has primarily allocated a substantial number of positions to the finance department, specifically targeting the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts. Among the positions, 50 Senior Computer Assistants (Group C, non-gazetted) will be filled through the Tripura Public Service Commission, ensuring a transparent and merit-based process.
In addition to the finance department, the Home Department will recruit 43 officials, including roles in the Jail Department and four Pharmacist positions. Furthermore, the Election Department is set to enhance its workforce by adding 10 Lower Division Clerks. The recruitment process has been designed to be thorough, involving multiple stages of examinations and evaluations to maintain the highest standards of candidates selected.
A Step Towards Transparent Governance
During a press conference, cabinet spokesperson and minister Sushanta Chowdhury emphasized the importance of transparency in the recruitment process. By routing the recruitment through reputable agencies like the Tripura Public Service Commission and the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura, the government aims to bolster public trust in its administrative decisions.
This recruitment initiative not only presents fresh employment opportunities for the youth of Tripura but also reflects the government's proactive approach to governance. As these positions are filled, the positive impact on the local economy and public services will likely be felt throughout the community.
