The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) has achieved an impressive milestone by being ranked the best hospital in the country for patient experience, according to the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) Adult Inpatient Survey. Scoring an outstanding 9.35 out of 10, RJAH stands among the elite healthcare providers in the UK, reflecting a commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction.

Celebrating Staff Dedication

Stacey Keegan, CEO of RJAH, expressed her gratitude for the staff and their unwavering dedication. "These outstanding results belong to our staff, whose skill, compassion, and dedication shape every patient’s experience at RJAH," she noted. High Response Rates and Positive Feedback

With feedback collected from over 62,000 patients, RJAH had a response rate of 66 percent, significantly exceeding the national average of 38 percent. Remarkably, 83 percent of responses were positive, marking the highest proportion of satisfaction nationally. Clair Hobbs, chief nurse at RJAH, emphasized the importance of patient safety and dignity in care. "These results show that our teams are getting those fundamentals right," she stated. For the sixth consecutive year, RJAH has been recognized for maintaining the cleanest wards and rooms in the country. Additionally, the hospital scored at the top nationally in surveys regarding the overall care and treatment provided by doctors.
