Unleashing Fun: Liverpool ONE's Free Easter Party Brings Joy to All

The vibrant atmosphere of Liverpool ONE was alive recently as the annual free Easter Party returned, promising a delightful day filled with creativity and community spirit. Hosted by local personalities Jay Hynd and Gemma Cutting, this year’s event catered to families and children alike with an array of engaging activities from 11am to 5pm.

An Egg-Citing Lineup of Activities

Guests enjoyed a diverse selection of Easter-themed activities. From bonnet-making workshops to special interactive games, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Enchanting Easter walkabout characters, such as Plucky the Chicken and whimsical walking plant pots, added a touch of magic to the day, delighting both children and adults.

A Showcase of Creativity

One of the highlights was the Easter bonnet competition, which saw over 100 children showcase their artistic talents with their handmade designs. Participants eagerly competed for fun prizes, creating an exciting buzz throughout the afternoon. The initiative not only encouraged creativity but also fostered community engagement as families came together to support one another.

Additional activities included free sessions at John Lewis, where families engaged in crafting and enjoyed vibrant face painting. Barn dancing and egg-and-spoon races contributed to a festive atmosphere, ensuring that laughter and joy filled the air. Donna Howitt, Deputy Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Our free Easter Party has become one of our favourite days of the year since we introduced it to our event programme last year.”
