The Shire Stories theatre programme, now in its sixth month, is making significant strides in nurturing creative voices from underrepresented communities across the West Midlands. This two-year project, initiated in February 2026, aims to uncover the untold stories of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and Shropshire through inclusive scriptwriting workshops and development opportunities.

Shire Stories has partnered with The Monday Night Club in Worcester, a commendable initiative that supports adults with learning difficulties or autism.
