According to the Economic and Revenue Forecast Council, the new projections indicate that the total revenue expectations for the biennium have reached $75.3 billion, a substantial increase of $438 million from last spring's budget numbers. Senator June Robinson, who serves as the chief Senate budget writer, expressed optimism about the news, calling it “absolutely good.” This uptick should facilitate smoother discussions as lawmakers work towards finalizing a supplemental budget.
