This week, Brockenhurst College dazzled audiences with a captivating performance of The Great British Bake Off Musical at the Kemball Theatre. The event has been hailed as an "electrifying, feelgood event," showcasing the remarkable talent of students from various disciplines within the college.
A Collaborative Triumph
Bringing together actors, dancers, singers, musicians, and technicians, the production featured an impressive cast of 26 lead performers complemented by a vibrant 20-member ensemble. Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew of 22 students from the foundation production arts courses worked tirelessly, ensuring the show ran seamlessly with the accompaniment of a live band.
Celebrating Performance and Emotion
Summer Shearing, who portrayed Pam in the musical, expressed her excitement for the experience, describing it as "fun, energetic, and such an exciting experience." As this marked her last communal performance at Brockenhurst, Summer noted it was a bittersweet moment filled with overwhelming joy.

The show creatively alternated between two casts—the Cake Cast and the Bread Cast—to keep performances fresh and engaging.
