You Won't Want to Miss Exeter's Exciting Feel Good Festival!

Exeter is gearing up for a vibrant and uplifting experience as the Feel Good Festival is set to take place on Saturday, May 16th, from 11am to 2pm. Located at the Wonford Community and Learning Centre and Wonford Playing Fields, this event promises a day filled with health, fun, and community engagement.

Community Driven Event

The festival is organized by the community group Wonford Health Matters, in collaboration with the Wonford Community and Learning Centre. Recently, they received a generous £900 grant from Exeter City Council to help make this event possible, emphasizing the collaborative spirit of the local community.

Activities for Everyone

The Feel Good Festival is designed to cater to all ages, featuring a variety of activities aimed at promoting health and wellbeing. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in guided walks, exercise classes, and complementary therapies. There are also plans for free food and drink, face painting, a bouncy castle, and engaging football sessions led by City Community Trust, making it a family-friendly atmosphere.

Promoting Wellbeing

The festival will focus on the five ways to wellbeing: connecting, keeping active, learning/creating, giving, and taking notice. Organizers are excited to showcase taster sessions, demonstrations, and information from various groups and services that support these well-being activities. This diverse program aims to provide valuable insights into how participants can foster connections with both people and nature, ultimately encouraging everyone to feel their best.

Your Invitation to a Healthier Lifestyle

With opportunities to explore new sports, enjoy dance and singing performances, and even partake in a Double Elephant Print Workshop, the Feel Good Festival is a celebration of health and community.
